Hi ! This is day one of my blog. When Someone asked me a few years ago what my favorite ingredient was , I simply said Salt and pepper. There was no second thought, this was the very beginning of the time when my culinary interest had just begun. I started cooking almost every day, trying new recipes, and gradually felt the pleasure in cooking, the way food fuels the body, and connects with human emotions.

From plating fine dining meals to baking pretty cakes, my interest has widely changed and evolved in the kitchen. But two things that have remained constant are the love for home food and my favorite ingredients - Salt and Pepper.

I'm old school. I thrive by feeding my loved ones.

The bonds created through food, the inspirations and morals that pass over generations through a family dinner are priceless. Food gives a sense of belonging and identity.

Something that I appreciate about myself in recent times is how the added knowledge of the ingredients and science of cooking has shaped the way I make Simple home-cooked meals more satisfying than ever. This has been made possible more because of the mindful choices I started making. This mindfulness doesn't simply mean to cut sugar or go gluten-free. My idea of Mind fullness is cooking with awareness and having more balanced meals. In today's world, the choices are plenty, and it is overwhelming to decide every meal to cook or to eat.

I enjoy the flow in my kitchen,

This meditative process is a combination of knowledge and skill. Constantly learning and unlearning about food keeps my curiosity alive. Some trials never end, and this cooking trial is one such.

You don't need to meal prep or have a meal planner,

Every day cooking can be easy and a soulful ritual. When cooked mindfully, food nourishes us from the inside out.

So in this Blog I'm not going to be writing about Michelin stars or World cuisines with you. I'm here to connect and share with you my kitchen stories backed by knowledge and logic. After all, when the fact is clear, it leads to a more mindful cooking experience.

Served with love, Always Seasoned with Salt and pepper!!

PS: If you are seeking the bigger truth like me, you might like this. Mindful meal humbles us because it grounds us, connects us, reminds us, teaches us, and moves through us. In a world that moves fast, food brings us back to the moment.
